Shabwah Investment Company (SIC) was established as a investment company. SIC was established with an initial capital of US $ 7,042,000. The total number of shareholders in the company is 1582. The company is located in Ataq city, capital of Shabwah province.

The company represents the first brick to establish a financial and economic entity for the province Shabwah and contributes to the advancement of development, promising investment and production sectors of the province of Shabwah with local capital 100% and strengthen the local economy and create many direct and indirect employment opportunities for the province of Shabwah.

History

The company seeks to exploit the promising investment opportunity for the province, which was not previously available to Shabwa’s sons. The company represents an excellent investment opportunity to employ local savings and is more secure and guarantee to those owners of frozen savings as it is wholly owned by the people of the province and its activities are concentrated mainly in the province. Its activities in many areas of investment and meet local demand and at a lower cost and maintain cash flow within the province’s markets and create many direct and indirect employment opportunities.
